City Introduction

Sanya is located on southern Hainan lsland. The length of the coastline is 264.42 kilometers, with 19 large and small harbors and 68 major Islands. The total land area is 192151 hectares.

With its unique geographical environment, Sanya is the only city in China that can enjoy a tropical rainforest and ocean scenery at the same time. The city is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and the three beautiful landscapes of mountains,the sea, and rivers merge naturally.Many of its hilltops also provide places overlooking the sea, river bay, and urbanlandscape. The natural scenery and excellent ecological environment make Sanya a paradisefor daily living, travel, and vacations.

Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City (YZBSTC) is located in the western part of Sarya City, Hainan Province, with a total planned area of approximately 69. 3 square kilometers. It focuses ondeveloping a high-tech science and technology zone with Nanfan seed breeding industry and deep-sea technology as the leading industries, and also promotes the development of life science, digital economy, and other industries. YZBSTC is one of the key parks in the Hainan Free Trade Port.

Luhuitou Scenic Area was completed and opened in 1989, with a total planning area of 98 hectares, a total of five peaks, and the highest altitude of 181 meters. Surrounded by the sea on three sides and adjacent to Sanya on one side, the scenic spot is an excellent location to climb high and look at the sea, watch the sunrise and sunset, and overlook the panoramic view of Sanya city. The love culture attractions in the scenic area are scattered, with a strong Li cultural connotation. The main sculpture of the scenic spot – “Lu Huitou” sculpture is built according to the beautiful love legend of the Li nationality in Hainan, the sculpture is 15 meters high, 10 meters long, 5 meters wide, it is the highest sculpture in Hainan Island, it is the city sculpture of Sanya City, Sanya is therefore called “Deer City”. It is now a national 4A-level tourist attraction.

The Tianya Haijiao Tourist Area in Sanya City, also known as the Tianya Haijiao Tourist Area, is located in the direction of 23 kilometers southwest of Sanya City, at the foot of Maling Mountain in Tianya District, Sanya City. It has a total area of 16.50 square kilometers, among which the land area is 10.4 square kilometers and the sea area is 6 square kilometers. It is a scenic area themed on the Tianya Haijiao culture and love culture. It gets its name because there are two huge stones in the scenic area engraved with the words “Tianya” and “Haijiao” respectively, as well as the inscription “Tianya Haijiao Tourist Area” written by Mr. Guo Moruo.

Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex is a high-level scenic area built with “duty-free business” as its core carrier, which is the first of its kind globally. It is located in the core area of the National Coast of Haitang Bay, Sanya. The total area of the complex is 374 mu, and the floor area reaches 398,100 square meters. The scenic area is connected by Phase I (Areas A, B, and C), Phase II (the Riverside Island), and the landmark “Cloud Ring Bridge”, integrating high-end shopping and cultural and tourism experiences deeply.
